Ken posts his political commentary and poetry at kendammand.com and hopes to write more after retirement.   He comes to the Board of WPC out of concern about a government, at both the State and Federal level, in which elected officials must consider past and future political campaign contributions more heavily than the overriding mandate to do the greatest good for the greatest number of citizens.

He's organized several volunteer events through Democrats Work, including environmental restorations, packing food at food banks, and helping with maintenance of homes used as shelters for homeless families.
