WPC's partner, recognized by the IRS as a charitable 501-c-3
organization. Funds directed that way are used only for charitable
activities and purposes allowed by IRS regulations, including
public forums and education about Clean Elections/Campaigns.

The IRA Opportunity
The Pension Protection Act of 2006
allows taxpayers over 70 ½ years old to donate money to a
charitable organization like Washington Public Campaigns directly
from their IRA account without the assets being considered as income.
Such a gift satisfies the minimum required distribution,
will be tax free, and also avoids the penalty on early withdrawal.
Because the distribution is not considered taxable income, you receive
the benefit even if you do not itemize your tax deductions. You
can transfer up to $100,000 to Washington Public Campaigns directly.

Education Fund.
